The Jefferson Memorial is a Neoclassic structure, built to honor the third president of the United States, Thomas Jefferson. The memorial is situated on the bank of Washington DC's Tidal basin. During the spring, the cherry trees that surround the tidal basin produce beautiful pink blossoms, add a colorful sunset and it makes for a breathtaking moment!
