Description
As the sun set on the Grand Canyon, a streak of light shone up from a crevasse, casting bright yellow hue on the land above the chasm. Although it was a rainy day, the rain darkened and intensified the colors of the landscape making for a wet, but spectacular visit! The Grand Canyon National Park was established in 1919, only seven years after Arizona became a state. It is also designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
